Richard Grando **Richard Grando** (*1987, Romania) lives in Ortenburg, Southern Germany. For him, photography is more than just a medium—it is a quiet search for light and shadow, for moods that linger in the unseen. He is often drawn outside at night with his camera, when the world feels lonelier, transforms into another reality, and creates space for the mystical.
It is this ambivalence between clarity and mystery that defines his works - snapshots of feelings that explore the space between the experienced and the dreamed. Subtle dialogues between light and shadow characterise his visual language, always in search of the interface between man and space, between transience and permanence.
His aim is not only to convey visual impressions to the viewer, but also to open up spaces for reflection in which he can find his own story.
Grando's photographs have been acquired by companies and private collectors, and some have been honoured with awards. In addition to his artistic work, he gives workshops on photography and editing, where he shares his knowledge and approach. Contact
